Central Proccesor Unit (CPU)
This is one of the microproccessor chips inside the computer. It commonly refered to as the brain of the computer where everything happens.
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
Dynamically allocates IP Addresses on a network.
Domain Name System (DNS)
DNS is a hierarchical distributed naming system for computers, services, or any resource connected to the Internet or a private network. It associates various information with domain names assigned to each of the participating entities.
Information Communication Technology (ICT)
Internet Protocal (IP)
IP provides a standard set of rule for sending and receiving data through local area networks and the Internet. Most people refer to "IP" as in "IP Address" for short.
An IP Address is like a unique telephone number that is assigned to every computer. This will help other computers know where to send and receive data over a computer network such as like the Internet.
Peer to Peer (P2P)
P2P is group of computers "Peers" that are connected to each other the Internet. Files can be shared directly between systems on the network without the need of a central server. In other words, each computer on a P2P network becomes a file server as well as a client which is commonly used to illegally download movies, music, computer software, and etc.
